Warranty
Our Warranty
Every piece from Randolph & Co. Jewelers is checked by hand before it ever leaves our shop, and we back that quality with a limited warranty. Below is exactly what's covered, what isn't, and how to file a claim if something goes wrong.
Prong & Setting Protection β First 60 Days
For 60 days after your delivery date, we'll repair any prong or setting that loosens because of a manufacturing flaw, at no cost to you. Send us photos and we'll take it from there.
This part of the warranty won't apply if the problem stems from:
- A drop, knock, or other impact after delivery
- Prongs that are bent, snagged, or worn down through normal, everyday use
- Accidents, misuse, or jewelry that wasn't cared for properly
- Any stone that goes missing after damage occurs post-delivery
Accent Diamond Protection β Full 12 Months
Side stones and accent diamonds of 0.20 carats or less (per stone) are protected for a full year from your delivery date. If one of these smaller stones is lost because of a manufacturing defect, we'll replace it and complete the repair free of charge.
This coverage doesn't extend to:
- Stones lost to impact, an accident, misuse, or poor care
- Work done, or damage caused, by a jeweler outside Randolph & Co. Jewelers
- Center stones, or any individual stone over 0.20 carats
What Falls Outside the Warranty
To be clear, the following are never covered:
- Center stones of any size
- Ordinary wear β scratches, dents, dulled finishes, or a ring that's been bent or knocked out of shape
- Damage from an impact, accident, or misuse
- Jewelry that's lost or stolen
- Damage from chemicals, harsh conditions, or improper care and storage
- Any repair, resizing, or alteration performed by someone other than Randolph & Co. Jewelers
Filing a Warranty Claim
Think your piece qualifies for a warranty repair? Here's what to do:
- Reach out as soon as you notice the issue.
- Email info@randolphcojewelers.com with the subject line "Warranty β [Your Order Number]", along with clear photos of the issue.
- We'll review everything and let you know if it's covered.
- Approved claims will get instructions on how to ship the piece back to us for inspection and repair.
Unless we tell you otherwise, you're responsible for packaging your item securely and covering the cost of shipping it to us.
Keep It Looked After
We recommend a professional inspection and cleaning every 6 to 12 months. A quick check-up catches everyday wear early, before it turns into a bigger repair.
A Few More Details
This warranty belongs to the original buyer only and can't be transferred to anyone else. Every claim is inspected by us before we determine whether it's covered. If we find that a repair falls outside the warranty, we're happy to give you a quote to have it fixed at your own expense.
